Sunday School

Sunday school classes are held on Sunday during the 10:30AM service for K – 8th graders.

In addition, Youth Ministry calls for passion, patience, and faithfulness, pointing out the sacred in the midst of the chaos of adolescence and walking faithfully with young people as they transition from childhood to young adult. Youth Ministry is a bridging ministry of education, connection, formation, and hopefully, transformation. We create a safe space for children and teens and implement annual programs for children and youth.

Daughters of the King

An international order for Episcopal girls and women who pledge a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism. Learn more about the Daughters of the King . Meetings are held on the Second Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Call the church office at 410-266-9755 for the location.

Hospitality Committee

Volunteers provide coffee and refreshments following the 10:30am Sunday service and other church gatherings.

Episcopal Church Women

Open to all women and meets on the third Sunday from September to June following the 10:30am service. They plan activities for women and activities for the congregation such as a Lenten retreat, Mother of the Year, and Father’s Day breakfast are a few examples.

Men’s Club

Open to all men and meets on the third Sunday from September to June following the 10:30am service. They plan activities for men and activities for the congregation such as Pancake day, the Sweetheart Breakfast, and Father of the Year are a few examples.

Journey of Faith

Join us each Sunday, at 9:00 AM in the Great Hall, to take a journey with Deacon John, Michelle a Special Guest each week, to explore your faith and listen to stories on how others struggle with the same questions and find their way. This gathering is also a part of the confirmation class to become a member of St. Philip’s Church. All are Welcome! None are Judged! Invite three people to join you!!!

Crab Feast Committee

St. Philip’s hosts an annual crab feast during the last Saturday of July. This committee plans this event which brings the congregation and community together to eat crabs and fellowship. The next crab feast will be held on July 26, 2025.

Kwanzaa Celebration

St. Philip’s hosts an annual Kwanzaa Celebration on December 26. Attendees will participate in various dances, listen to music, and learn about the history of the holiday and traditions of African American History and heritage. The entire community is welcome, and the celebration includes food, storytelling and the significance of the holiday. African Drum and Dancers perform and share the experience of interpretive dance and enlist all to join in the celebration.

Anniversary Sunday Committee

This committee provides an opportunity for the congregation and the community to gather and celebrate God’s faithfulness to our church and together step forward in faith. The committee plans the worship service, events, and fundraisers leading up to this glorious event on the third Sunday in May.

Reunion Sunday

Reunion Sunday was created to welcome back our members from summer vacation or even those we have not seen in a while. This committee plans the worship service and coffee hour following the service for this event. The next Reunion Sunday service will take place on September 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.

Family and Friends Day

Family and friends gather on the second Sunday of November to worship together. This committee plans the worship service and hosts a coffee hour. This special occasion brings family and friends together to worship on the second Sunday in November. The family brings
This is a budgeted event so the committee plans the worship service, events and fundraisers to achieve our budgeted goal. Family and Friends Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in November. We look for volunteers to chair and co-chair this committee every year.
