Vestry

Do you feel called to lead? By joining the vestry, you will have an opportunity to define and support the church’s mission, manage the church’s resources and finances, and select the rector. Three to four members of the congregation are elected to the vestry annually to serve a 3-year term. The rector is the presiding officer.

In addition to being a vestry member, there are opportunities to hold a leadership position within the vestry. The Senior Warden, who is appointed by the rector annually, supports the rector and leads the church between rectors. The Junior Warden, also appointed by the rector, oversees the church’s property and buildings. The Registrar maintains records of important meetings.
